OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Oshkosh Corp. is buying another company.
AUSA makes equipment for the construction, material handling, agriculture, landscape and specialty equipment industries. Products include wheeled dumping machines, forklifts for rough terrain and telehandlers — devices similar to forklifts that have telescoping arms.
The companies have been collaborating since 2020.
“We are excited to join forces with a proven partner like AUSA,” Mahesh Narang, Oshkosh Corp. executive vice president and president of the company’s Access segment, said in a news release. “Combining our advanced technology capabilities and robust training, support and service infrastructures will allow us to better serve customers and enable targeted growth.”
“We constantly pursue excellence in our products, services and business,” Ramon Carbonell, AUSA’s chief executive officer, said in a news release. “A deeper relationship with Oshkosh will expand the reach of our products, which is an objective our companies share.”
AUSA was founded in 1956 in Barcelona, Spain. It had sales of about 132 million euros in 2023. The company has nearly 350 employees and 600 dealers.
The deal was expected to close within 90 days. Terms of the agreement were not announced.
