(WTAQ-WLUK) — Ascension Health says it’s investigating cyber security issues.
The healthcare company says on Wednesday it detected unusual activity on select technology network systems and immediately began its investigation.
Access to some systems have been interrupted however they assure they initiated procedures to ensure patient care continues to be safe and minimally impacted.
If at some point in the investigation, they determine any sensitive information was affected, Ascension Health will notify those affected.
Ascension facilities include: St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, Ascension Calumet Hospital, Chilton and Mercy Hospital, Oshkosh.
